About the Password Generator tool
Reused and predictable passwords are behind a huge share of account takeovers. When one website is breached, attackers try the same email and password on banks, email and social networks. The fix is a unique, random password for every account — and the easiest way to get one is a generator.
Wartatren.biz.id uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for encryption keys, rather than the predictable Math.random. Passwords are generated on your device and are never transmitted or stored. The strength meter estimates entropy in bits, a measure of how many guesses an attacker would need.
How to generate a strong password
- Set the length with the slider — 16 characters or more is recommended.
- Choose which character types to include.
- Tick “Avoid look-alikes” if you will need to read or type the password by hand.
- Click Copy and save the password in your password manager.

Frequently asked questions
How long should my password be?
At least 12 characters for everyday accounts and 16 or more for email, banking and password-manager master passwords. Length adds more strength than complexity.
Is it safe to generate passwords online?
With Wartatren.biz.id, yes: the password is created by code running on your own device and is never sent over the internet. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet — the generator keeps working.
What does “bits of entropy” mean?
It measures unpredictability. Each extra bit doubles the number of guesses needed. Above 80 bits is considered very strong for online accounts.
Should I write my passwords down?
Use a reputable password manager instead. It stores every password securely so you only need to remember one strong master password.
